Scarlett Johansson was born on the 22nd of November, 1984 at New York City New York. She is an American actor and singer whose talents have gained her recognition across a range of types of films ranging from thrillers and adventures to period films. Johansson daughter of an architect and producer, was born within New York City. Hunter, her twin brother and She were all the smallest of four kids. She developed an interest in acting at an early age and was auditioning for commercials before age seven. Then she began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further hone her craft. She made her debut as an actor in the film North (1994) at the age of nine. She was just eight when she starred alongside Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson subsequently starred as a character in Just Cause (1995), her debut came with Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters who run away. Then, she was awarded high praise from critics for her performance as an teen girl who suffered an accident that left her with a blemish on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). The role was in a Dannon yogurt TV commercial. Like other young actors in the same position She honed her craft on stage. She also worked in other productions across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her debut on stage performance.
