Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally in the teen years at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional included The Snow Queen. The Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. The actress reprised her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at age 15 with Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002 and was nominated for an Drama League Award. Molly played the role in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2004). Then, she attended Princeton University and was a part of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree 2008. After that, she went to Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and earned a Bachelor's degree in 2008. During this time she also made her film debut in Disney in the film College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly has performed several Off-Broadway productions including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. Additionally, she appeared in television shows such as Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in the year 2008 as well as Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly's best-known performance is in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) where she plays Ali the teenage daughter. She also starred in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
